    AI for Presentation Skills: A Use Case Study

    The share-out documents summarize the rapid-iteration design process which aimed to investigate the viability of implementing an AI audience tool (through the development of use cases and corresponding prototypes) for online students to practice presentation skills.

    Clear Communication: Analyzing and Testing Rubrics

    This project involved analyzing courses and designing in-term testing of a newly developed “Clear Communication” rubric criterion row which would potentially replace existing variations of the “Articulation of Response” rubric criterion row across the university catalog

    Audience: Primarily online educators and undergraduate learners with a secondary audience of instructional designers

    Responsibilities: Needs analysis (for course selection; of articulation/communication rubric criteria; and treatment of audience expectations within formative and summative assessments); prototyping; UX testing

    Discussion Board Rubrics: Balancing Mastery with Engagement

    This project moved from an initial working group tasked with investigating potential changes to the standard undergraduate discussion board rubric through developing UX testing (moderated, unmoderated, and focus groups) as well as designing and implementing in-term A/B live course testing

    Audience: Undergraduate learners; faculty leadership and training facilitators; and instructional designers
